The tiling of the final surface of the pool offers a beautiful aesthetic result with a long life. The waterproofing layer in this case is applied behind the tiles and must offer the following:
- High elasticity, due to its stress from contraction and expansion
- High durability over time, as its position among the building blocks of the pool makes any future intervention difficult and costly.
- Strong adhesion to the substrate
- Resistance to possible negative water pressures when empty
The tile adhesive to be selected must have high elasticity and resistance to weather conditions, pool water and the chemicals it contains.
Tile grout must be water repellent and resistant to both pool water chemicals and those used to clean it.
